This hands on learning session will allow teachers to gain knowledge and skills with hand tools and power tools.

Randy Grey will lead teachers through safety and knowledge building. Teachers will then be able to practice and gain confidence using a variety of tools, which they can apply to ADST projects and support exploratory learning within their subject area or ADST. Tools include: basic hand tools, drills, jigsaw, miter saw and potentially a table saw.

Randy Grey is a post secondary instructor and a retired SD71 lead teacher. Randy is a leader within BC for Careers and new teacher training, with a specific focus on ADST. Dawn Anderson is the current Lead Teacher for Careers and Transitions with SD71.
