We assume that children can clearly view what they learn from. Vision is complex and subjective. Even with eyeglasses, your students may not be “seeing” things well. We’ll consider signs that a student is challenged with their learning materials, and explore student-led feedback to determine how to visually enhance materials for improved access and success.
Your presenters are teachers with a Master’s specific to teaching students with visual impairments / blindness. We are passionate about optimizing vision for ALL learners, for the greatest rewards.
Perhaps dual interest in both figure skating and vision comes from scrutinizing figure eights – with limited contract, faint line tracings, insufficient lighting, surface glare, distorted circles, small-visual details like flat edges, and dull blades!
