Teaching today requires deep reserves of clarity, adaptability, and heart. This experiential 90-minute session helps educators reconnect with their sense of purpose, strengthen resilience, and explore simple tools they can also use to help students build confidence and emotional steadiness.
Through guided reflection, small-group dialogue, and a hands-on “strength story” activity, participants identify moments where they have overcome challenges — and the strengths they drew on. This reinforces growth mindset, identity, and confidence for educators, while also offering a classroom-ready tool students can use to build the same skills.
Drawing from modern psychology and performance science, this approach has been used successfully in school districts, university programs, and elite sport environments to help people show up with more focus, calm, and purpose.
Grounded in the First Peoples’ Principles of Learning, this session honours holistic growth and the understanding that learning deepens through shared stories, lived experience, and community connection.
Participants will leave with:
• Renewed clarity and purpose as educators
• Daily reset strategies for energy and focus
• A practical reflection tool for building student confidence and resilience
• A sense of connection and shared strength
