EFAP: Employee and Family Assistance Program

Our Employee Orientation (EFAP Overview) session is designed to introduce employees to Homewood Health’s Employee and Family Assistance Program and how it can support overall wellbeing. The session covers what the EFAP is, who is eligible (employees and eligible family members), and the types of support available, including short-term counselling and a range of lifestyle and wellbeing services. We also highlight how the service can be used proactively, not just in crisis, and provide examples of common reasons people reach out.

We’ll also walk through how to access support, including the different ways to connect (phone, online, and app where applicable), what to expect when contacting the EFAP, and how confidentiality works. Time is included for questions so employees leave feeling clear on how to use the program and comfortable reaching out when needed.
