This workshop provides a framework for creating a classroom management plan that includes preventing problems, taking action when problems arise and intervening with individual students. This framework allows teachers to create a management plan that is based on positive behaviour support but is flexible to accommodate many strategies and teaching styles.

Included is the opportunity to re-examine personal practice and beliefs, explore respectful discipline approaches and expand classroom management strategies.
The objectives of this online workshop are:

• to identify a framework for classroom management that includes prevention, taking action, and intervention.
• to explore effective strategies and interventions for each part of the management framework
• to understand that behaviour is communication.The sessions will include 5 minute breakout room discussions and classroom expectations.
