Join Kara for an interactive workshop where you will discover how to make Microsoft Copilot Chat AI your go-to partner for lesson planning, editing, creating, differentiating and sparking creative classroom ideas.
In this hands-on session, Kara will show you how to turn Copilot into your ultimate teaching sidekick—saving time, sparking creativity, and transforming lesson planning from chore to cheer. You’ll learn insider tips for crafting powerful prompts for Copilot, explore the magic of Agents, and even create your own custom Agent teaching assistant. Please bring your own computer to play along or let Kara know if you would like to borrow one.
Kara Dawson has a passion for empowering educators and students through meaningful digital learning experiences. With a background in curriculum design and classroom teaching, Kara brings a practical, student-centered approach to digital literacy. She enjoys using technology in creative ways—playing Meta Quest, exploring Minecraft, and leading the annual district-wide Minecraft challenge.
As a Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator, she works closely with teachers and students to share engaging approaches to technology integration.
