The culture it portrays stories, language, music, dance and the territory I came from.
Life as a Metis.

I am from Alberta (Lac La Biche)

I was raised by my grandparents. I grew up with my culture and was taught Cree, Michif.
Trapping was a way of life and survival skills were learned at a young age.
Grew up in a log shack. Good values, religion, and hard work were instilled.
Got married at 18, had 3 children. Had 12 grandchildren, (lost 3) have 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
